MediaCom is a complete rip-off. Highway robbery. This company is full of lies and deception. I've done what each representative asks me to do but the next representative always states there aren't any notes in the system and they can't do anything to help me. A recent representative (Jaz #4c6) told me on 4/6/24 that she actually sees in the system where the retention department can provide a great discount for the service of internet only. She said I would most definitely receive the loyalty discount, but the retention department would have to call me back and apply it. So needless to say, I didn't get anything resolved again during a phone call and pushed off to another department like usual. I again obliged. The retention department called at approximately 0905 and I was speaking to an Asian representative named "Dan". After asking me to verify ALL of my information on the account, she places me on hold as she looked for any promotions to offer. She was clacking on her keyboard and had me on hold for 10 min with her occasional reset line for the customer to continue to wait. Only to come back on the line and offer me the same thing that Jaz, a regular customer service representative, had to offer. If Jaz could pull it up in less than 1 min, why would it take Dan 10 min? I really believe Dan wasn't going to help me in the first place and only wanted to make it appear as if she was doing all that she could to offer me absolutely nothing. I requested to speak to Dan's supervis Resolution Sought I want the same internet service I was receiving for the same price I was paying without my bill skyrocketing. It's proven that the service can be offered for the lower price. So why is the price raise necessary?

The customer was received services under a promotion that expired in April 2024. The notification of this promotion and the expiration date is printed on the customer's monthly statement. A new promotion was offered on April 6, 2024, but the customer declined and disconnected services.

No one in their right mind would agree to eventually pay $130/mo for intermittent internet services only. That's not a great promotion. That's an insult and a rip-off. For a major company to only have two options to choose from; one being so much data that I dont use and pay a lot or so little data that I go over and have to pay overages; shows you don't really care about customers. Corporate greed at it's finest. Everyone should cancel their services from Mediacom. Service is inconsistent even on a sunny day. There haven't been any updated wiring in the area per your technicians. The modems/routers and other equipment are old and hacked into. Yet, the price goes up every year for the same, mediocre service. Mediacom is not worth spending money on.

After cancelling 2 months ahead. They still went on the cancel it 2 months after we moved after state and charge us for the 2 months we were not using the service due to moving. Resolution Sought Refund us the 80.00 that we are owed for the false month after we canceled
