July 13, 2022 online purchase of Medical Breakthrough Massage Chair 9 emphasizing DELIVERY INSIDE HOME, very important since having medical issues and a senior over age 70. As stated by their CR, delivery took about 2 weeks. 8/02 Freight Co. phoned & ready to make delivery. Confirming delivery is for INSIDE HOME, as stated on Commercial Invoice/Contract under 'Addition Instructions'. They told me "NO only curbside delivery/garage and to call Shipping Vendor"! 8/02 - 8/10 emails back & forth with me and Vendor re. INSIDE DELIVERY need, as stated on Contract. I was exhausted, stressed, disgusted and feed up with all the shifting, laxed and ineffective communication with some saying have to pay addl fees for "white glove" service + addl fees for stairs (since I have 6 front entry steps to front door for INSIDE DELIVERY and repeatedly highlighted specifics before placing my telephone order with Mark on 7/13/2022). 8/10am stressfully responded to email "to cancel since couldn't accommodate delivery specifics as stated on Contract"! 8/10pm emailed to say 'white glove to be provided @ no addl fee (canceled hours earlier). STILL NO REGARD TO ME or Contract. 8/11pm someone from MD phone asking info for a chair delivery... questionably told him order was canceled day before? 8/12 - getting brief emails re. return - Option: s&h ($1376.30 from CA to LaPlata? + $1436.22 from LaPlata? to CA + 25 restocking w/no storage fees). Don't know where chair located! Resolution Sought Shipping charges, don't fully agreed but can assume detailed liable fee. Disagreed with 25 restocking fee ( their failure to honor their Contract + circumstances shouldn't warrant such fee. Want remaining costs credited back to my Visa credit card and CASE CLOSED. I have lost trust in doing any type of business with Medical Breakthrough, despite my desires to own much needed 'elite massage chair' for relief of new medical condition. I'd like to move onward from this disappointing ordeal!
