I wrote to Medtronic as my insurance had a 5k deductible asking for assistance as I could not afford the 0ver 400, I was paying every 3 months. You wrote me a letter and said you would assist. And you can see the notes from my account on the trouble I had ever getting the assistance. But, to my surprise when I finally placed an order with your assistance it wasn't any help you just jacked the price to full cost and then gave me the discount that you give to the insurance companies and it is the same amount I told you I could not afford in the first place. So you really don't have an assistance program because you are not out anything. Luckily for me next year my deductible is less. And I will be shopping for a new insulin pump and glucose monitor. I can assure you I will not be going through you. Resolution Sought That you address the issue and give assistance not your insurance rate.

I have been a customer and pump wearer for OVER 10 years. As of late (beginning in November 2021) I have been having problems with my pump. It was so problematic that I got a replacement pump on December 5. Today I called for help, calling 818 576-5555, after listening to endless different ways I could get help on-line. First, I was hung up on. Second, (after endless ways to go online THEN waiting on hold) I spoke with Maria. Told her what was happening. Was hung up on again! (Yes, I had signal) (no call back) Third, called again, (after listening to endless, and waiting on hold again) Got a woman who spoke her name so softly I did not hear. I asked for help with Medtronic Reservoirs. (below) I really do NOT Appreciate being treated like a child or an idiot! After 10 years of wearing a pump, I am quite sure I GET IT! But for a person to make me cry (so that I do not behave like a "Karen") is really too far! I wear a pump to save my life, not to complicate it. I do not appreciate the 'Get over it attitude'. I hate the way I was spoken to, the waste of my time, the waiting on hold, repeating my problem, the attitude that I am trying to steal from Medtronic because I am requesting REPLACEMENTS of product, and I resent being told to call another number because it is a different complaint department. Resolution Sought I want replacement of 2 boxes of Reservoirs Ref # MMT=332A Lot # HG 59GQY EXP 2024-05-22. The reservoir is getting stuck at 2 ml. It is happening consistently. I have replaced my pump because of this problem. I don't want my time back, I don't want anything for free, I don't expect to get my dignity back, I don't expect that the people who work for you, know what it is like to HAVE to wear a medical device to remain alive, all I want is to get a replacement of 2 boxes of MiniMed Reservoirs
