I have contacted the office of this property since the 10th of May when the lockout for my apartment was executed following my eviction. I called the office the same day to request access to get the bag I left there due to no space when I moved the rest out of the unit. It has come to the point where they refused to give me my belongings unless I pay my balance but when I asked to make arrangements they didn't give me that chance. I just contacted them on the 10th of this month as they said I'd have 30 days to pay so I can recover my things which consists of my birth certificate, social security card, and court documents. It is sensitive and valuable information in the bag along with clothing that has tags attached so I pleaded to work something out but they forwarded and blocked my calls to prevent that. I had the sheriff speak to them on my behalf and they agreed to give me time to pay the balance and that they would keep my belongings in storage beyond the 30 days but it seems they went back on that. So I called legal aid after calling and visiting the office but I'm unsure about this process. I'm in need of assistance with this issue as soon as possible. Resolution Sought I'd like to recover my belongings from the storage this property uses before they discard or donate any of it.
