Closed account in May of 22, card company continued withdrawing funds two months after account was closed. Blocked withdrawals. Sent to collections for 700+ 5 months after account closed. Then had to provide proof of payment up to date of close. Provided information. Then no response. Called several times for update. Only to find out they wanted more information but had not contacted me by phone or email to request it. Contacted them again and provided them with information. Meanwhile collections have impacted my credit score. My account was open for over four years. But rarely used. I have exceeded the 3 year contract and owe no early cancellation fee. I provided bank statements as requested proving I owed them nothing. They openly admitted that the account was closed in May. Resolution Sought I want my credit score restored and all derogatory remarks removed from my credit report. I want a refund for the additional month I was charged.
