To monitor the process of all there claims a little more cautiously.
The company was soliciting door to door. Approached my wife and notified us that our aluminum siding was damaged from a previous hail storm. That the work would most likely be covered through our homeowners insurance. So we were on board with the claim. They scheduled for us to meet with there adjuster. Which we gave our insurance information and went over the process on how the work would start. Mid America told us that they would file the claim with our insurance. 2 weeks went by and we get notices from our insurance stating that they were trying to make contact with Mid America and made multiple tries. We contacted Mid America and there reason was that our representative was behind on her work and that she would contact our insurance adjuster. Which she did and the process went forward from there. Our insurance company came out and inspected our home and told us that Mid America put on the claim that we also needed a new roof. Our roof was replaced 4 years ago and never once was mentioned about a new roof. Our insurance company flagged the claim and told us we didn't need a new roof (which we knew). My wife contacted Colleen our adjuster from Mid America and told her what our insurance company told us. She responded by saying "I make a lot of phone calls everyday and I may have accidentally mentioned your roof." I feel that is not acceptable and to shrug it off without an apology is very upsetting to me and I believe most other people. They should not be an accredited.
