MidAmerican Energy put the following through on my bank account - 12/13/2021 ACH - Demand ACH Debit ENERGY MIDAMERICAN /2XXXXX8045S881 STEVEN ANDREW DAWLEY (Memo Post) $116.72, the problem is I'm not Steven Andrew Dawley and don't know him. When I called MidAmerican they told me it was my problem and I needed to work through my bank. How can you charge my account without my authorization and then tell me it is my problem. This is the second time in 2021 MidAmerican has did this to me. Then I have to fill out papers with my bank to get my money back and they had know right to allow it to go through either. Now I have to wait between 24-48 hours to get my funds back that wasn't authorized and neither entity had a right to let it go through (twice). Better controls need to be in place and shouldn't be my problem like MidAmerican said it is. Resolution Sought Get my money back now and treat individuals with respect when it was their error. I shouldn't have to spend two hours of my time correcting their error.
