They installed a well pump 6/08/20. which worked till 7/96/21..They looked at it & checked it out & declared it a "bad pump" They nearly left the premises except my friend told them this was my only source of water, & there was livestock involved & they reluctantly agreed to get me another pump.. (pump had a 5 yr warranty) After putting in the new pump & it still didn't work they hauled it out of the well, & my friend suggested they try hooking it up directly to the power source....It worked just fine !! Now in order to get me water, they want to charge me another $800.00 on top of the $1488.00 they. charged me a year ago & did not do all the work on the estimate.. The electrical cable is bad. & they want 3-4x what it costs at Lowes...When I protested, the owner stated that no one is going to tell him what to charge & that he is in business to make money...Meanwhile, It has been a week without water & I have livestock... It has been raining off & on for the last few days, but that is no solution.... Resolution Sought Stop trying to scam people, become competent at the plumbing business, refund part of the money already paid you for work not done and/or fix my water for free

On May 15, 2020 the lead technician (Steven Brown) met with Ms. Preston and he discovered that her submersible well pump had stopped working. Steven called around to find a new pump, there was none in stock so we ordered a replacement pump online from Buy Pumps Direct. Ms. Preston agreed to pay a $900.00 deposit and agreed to pay the remaining $588.00 at completion of the pump installation. On May 29, 2020 we replaced the pump and 1" x 100' pipe that goes down into the well. To keep cost down for her, at her request, we did not replace the pump wire. The wire looked fine. When we left the project, the pump was working properly and she paid the remaining $588.00. Ms. Preston called us about 4 months later and she stated something was going on with the well. I went out to her property and began the troubleshooting process. I found that the pressure switch was short cycling, which means the pump would come on and shut right back off. I adjusted the pressure switch and repaired the issue at no additional charge. Ms. Preston phoned again on or about 7/8/21 and stated the pump was not working. I went out again to check the pump. There was power going down to the pump at that time. I explained to Ms. Preston that Mid Tenn Home Solutions was no longer working on well pumps as of Jan 1, 2021 but I would try to assist her with the warranty of the pump. I called the manufacturer to begin the warranty process. Meanwhile, I ordered another pump which was $578.00 that Mid Tenn Home Solutions paid for. The new pump was delivered on July 15 and we went to install the pump on July 16. We installed the new pump and discovered it was not working. At that point, we installed aa new pressure switch, new control box, we wired the old pump into the control box and it ran perfectly. The only thing that had not been replaced was the wire. We pulled 100' of pipe and the pump back out of the well. We checked the wire for continuity and one of them had failed. We needed to replace that wire…120' of 4 wire, 12 gauge strained submersible pump wire at $249.00 plus tax. On the morning of July 19th we went to replace the wire. Ms. Preston sent me a text stating she had done some checking and found some wire at Lowes, and she didn't care where I bought the wire but she was only paying $1.34 per foo. The wire she was speaking of was 3 wire, not 4 wire. I went to Lowes to check the price of the wire but they did not carry 4 wire. I was going to have to order the 4 wire from Tractor Supply. It was at this point I told Ms. Preston she could not dictate the price I charge for wire, Labor of 3 men, and the time I spent just trying to locate the particular wire needed for her well. Our warranty for labor and material had expired on May29, 2021, excluding the factory warranty of the pump. I explained to her the wire and labor would be at least $685.00. She stated that was too much for something I should be doing free of charge. The bottom line is Mid Tenn Home Solutions completed the work we were originally contracted to do. I will attach a copy of the invoice for your records.
