Re: Viking Refrigerator Serial Number 06101510032703 Model Number VC5B5423SS Hello:Middleby Residential has not responded to e-mails. I spoke with a manager, Samatha one time and she does not return my calls and does not answer emails and I did check and I have the correct email address. In addition, On July 13, 2021 I called Middeby and was told by someone else that in the file it states we were sold the refrigerator as is which is not true. It is covered by a warranty that will expire in October 2021 on a floor model refrigerator that has twice had the cooling fail and has no lights in the freezer because the transmission is defective. BACKGROUND On October 17, 2019 we purchased a Viking side by side refrigerator from AllianceLand in Rockville. We knew it was a floor model and believed we were buying a 2019 model. 1.On February 14, 2020, less than four months after we purchased a new refrigerator, it died. The refrigerator ceased to cool. We contacted A-Nova appliance which was described to us by ApplianceLand as a Viking authorized repair center. 2. A-Nova did not fix the refrigerator until February 17, 2020. 3. A-Nova replaced the HV board, thermostat and sensor. 4. On Thursday June 10, 2021 the refrigerator died AGAIN. The refrigerator did not cool. We called A-Nova Friday morning and were advised they would not be able to come to repair the appliance until July. We also had 11 guests arriving from out of town that night and no work Resolution Sought A replacement 2019 refrigerator which is what we believed we were purchasing--not a 2015 defective refrigerator.
