We ordered a stove from Migali and they refused to deliver it to us saying they did not have proof we are a commercial property. We provided our business license, letter from the village confirming our business district and commercial property. Our property is an old Victorian home that was previously an antique shop. We have gutted the entire building and it's has new electrical and plumbing. The fact that this company is refusing to deliver or sell to us is unjustified considering I provided what they asked for. Resolution Sought Better business practices. Terrible to work with. Do not answer the calls. Have to leave a voice mail. Super unprofessional.

Migal manufacturers commercial refrigeration & cooking equipment. The product is to be used for commerical use only. As stated in the complaint, the locatioin was an old Victorian home, recently renovated. Our company asked if the location was zoned commercial and to provide documentation stating this. The documents sent only showed that this was registered as a business but nothing stating that the property where the cooking equipment was to be installed was zoned commercial. When a building is zoned commercial it has to have certain fire suppression systems installed due to the nature of the cooking equipment being installed to prevent fire hazards. Migali felt that not enough documentation was provided to nsure the safety and liability of both parties. With that being said, we communicated all of this to our equipment dealer who is well aware of Migali's policies. They informed us that they would handle the situation with Malia. We sent Malia's email and our cancellation email to the dealer. Migali had no direct order from Malia, and as previously stated, we sent her correspondence to our equipment dealer to handle. A Migali customer service representative did speak with Malia, and she was advised to speak with the equipment dealer she purchased the unit through, since this is the company who collected payment from her.

I sent a letter from the zoning official in our town. It stated that this property is Zoned commercial. I sent pictures of our commercial Kitchen. I did what they asked for and they still refused. Many old homes or untypical locations are zoned commercial. Poor excuse on part of this company. The hassle was uncalled for.

No such information was received. There was no paperwork stating the property was zoned commercial and no proof of the fire inspection to back it up. The risk of this not being installed properly, out weighed the sale and Migali choose to err on the side of caution.
