I bought a 2011 Nissan Murano from Miracle Motors on Dec 30th. Test drove the car 3 blocks. Brought it back and said the brakes are grinding metal to metal. He offer to drop the price to $3700 if I fixed the brakes or they would fix the brakes and I could pay them. I chose not to drive the car and pay them. I was charged $225. I signed the paperwork to buy the car. I wanted to test drive the car to make sure it was mechanically sound. The salesman assured me that if anything major was wrong with the vehicle they would fix the problem. I signed the as is warranty under duress, assured that they would take car of any major problems. When I picked the car up the salesman had left for the day. They had to jump start the battery and said that the car would charge up on my way home. I stopped and had the battery checked. Dead. Bad battery. Replaced battery. Cost $160. They didn't fix the brakes. I paid a mechanic $200. to fix the other 3 brakes. I bought pads $69. 1 week later car died and wouldn't take a jump. Called tow truck to tow home 8 blocks.$75. Replaced battery + wiring to battery. $45. No start. Replaced starter motor $145. No start. Found out the motor was seized up. $5000. to $7000. to fix. Went by car lot and was told the owner would call me back when he came in. No call back. Called numerous times. No call back or answer. "I feel like I was cheated and lied to when car was sold to me." I drove the car less than 500 miles. Resolution Sought I would like a refund of $3795. plus money spent trying to fix the car. Is that to much to ask? If it is, as least the $3795. or the vehicle replaced with one of equal value with no major mechanical issues. Fair is fair and right is right. Thank you.
