I had basic oil change, mechanic saw stripped plug in oil pan. They admitted their fault because they had done previous oil change. Said oil pain and flex hose and labor would be covered. They held my car for4 days, each day saying they were trying ton work on it. After it was "fixed" I was given.my car with no charge. However they refused a work order or invoice for work done for me to sign off on. I took car to 2 other mechanics who actually laughed at the eork. 1. They b Never put new oil pan in, 2. They bought a 5.00 plug. And 3 they did not replace original flex hose to oil pan. They used a straight pipe that both mechanical shops said would ruin my catalytic convertor. My car reeks of oil and I will need to replace the whole line, oil pan flexhose. Convertor and muffler system . I also got a reject sticker because they unhooked battery and it interfered with the emission sensors. I am in process of getting 2 estimates to repair, thus the 2,000. Amount listed. Also, intend on small claims court. They lied and cobbed my car. Its a Chevy Cruz well kept. I'm looking to trade in and now I'm faced with this Plug. Resolution Sought I want them to cover the full charge for the cov job they did through the Chevy dealer, not Monroe! I want an invoice for all they did. Plus I had just worked 7 days and had to change appointments as they held my car.
