I had my vehicle serviced 8/4/22 for a oil cooler and radiator leak which was under warranty. I picked up my vehicle 8/5/22. Then on 8/17/22 my vehicle broke down in my garage and it was towed into the dealership. The dealership fixed the fuel pump which was also under warranty. I picked up my vehicle on 8/24/22. The vehicle was traded in and on 9/1/22 I went into Monroeville Dodge with the odometer certificate, so I could cancel my warranty and get a refund. On 9/12/22 I contacted Protective Warranty to make sure they received the cancellation of my policy on 9/1/22. I was advised the policy wasn't canceled and is still active. I went into the dealership again on 9/12/22 to have it corrected only to be informed that the warranty couldn't e canceled before the service department still had the claims open from 8/4/22 and 8/17/22. I was advised to contact the service department and have the claims closed out so the policy could be canceled. I've left 2 messages for the service manager 9/14/22 and 9/15/22 with the information about the open claims and requesting the claims be closed. No one from the service department will return my call and the claims still haven't been closed. It's been over a month for the claim 8/4/22 and it will be a month for the 8/17/22 in another 2 days. The manager of the warranty claims department advised me today that the service department is the only one who can close the claim and until they do I can't cancel my warranty and get a refund. Resolution Sought I want both of those claims from a month ago closed out immediately, so I can cancel my warranty for the vehicle I no longer have and be refunded my money for the warranty I paid for back in 2019 when I purchased the vehicle.
