On 4/25/2024 I purchased a used transmission from Turlock Auto wreckers in Turlock CA in the amount of 400$ total with a 100$ cre fee return when I turned in my old transmission I payed 200$ deposit then I payed the other 200$ 0n picking up the transmission at the Montavol's Auto Dismantling at 1839 E. Gerard in Merced CA.(209)600-9444 /(209)658-8476 0n 4/25/2024.We picked it up in my 1993 Ford Ranger pick up engine 2.3 automatic transmission that I purchased transmission for..I took to my mechanic who proceeded to change transmission that was not the right one.I then took both my running original transmission and the one i purchased and drove the 75 miles back to Montavol's in Merced Ca to return it I was told to leave both transmissions there so that they could compare another one so i could receive correct one. I left came back two days later to see what was going on,and no transmission yet. I gave them two more days went back to resolve matter and was told both transmission where not available any longer (at this point) I'm still under their 2 month warranty) Yes it did indicate on original receipt no cash refunds but they returned my 400$ I payed with no receipt but where not willing to replace my running transmission. I have been losing 100$ a day for not being able to work and not able to put back in my transmission because they disposed of it without my consent they where only to keep it for a exchange core when I was given one that was for my truck. Now I have Resolution Sought I would like them to replace my running used transmission with one like mine and the 100$ I have lost a day that I would be still earning had I been able to put my old one back in so I could work for the total amount 4.000$ for 41 days of loss of work this is not including mechanic fees and gas. The owner's son was very adamant about not paying for my transmission that I was told by a young man who worked there that it was sold for scrap metal.
