Cats or something tore loose a panel on a box I had out side where my water spout is, it was heat taped & also insulated until some of the insulation away and tore one of the boards loose and the cold weather, when we got down below zero and high winds were blowing, I believe it was January 14th anyway it froze my pipe where the water comes in from the city to my home and I was out of water for 3 days I called everyone I could think of to saw the pipe out I knew exactly where it was coming from and the only one I could get over here was Morrison Plumbing and they told me it was a $49 service call and if they did anything then the $49 disappears into the price of what they do so I had them set me an appointment up for Wednesday the 17th of January I explained to the guys where I knew that it was frozen at and they went outside it was two guys he did not say nothing about the cost of this nothing was mentioned about the price until they already did the work I expected them to come in and tell me how much it was going to cost before they did it but that did not happen. When the guy told me the price I said well I think that's awful High but I have to have water I'm 68 years old I wasn't offered a senior discount or anything and they were here less than a half an hour the only thing that was done was the pipe was thought out they put a couple screws back into the board and a little bit of insulation that got ripped out by whatever animals it was and the cost was so high Resolution Sought To at least get part of my money back that should not been more than $150 at the most and that's still on the high side for what was done. I can't even make my house payment now because I had to use my money to pay for that and he said he went down as low as he could go on cost and can go no lower I had no choice because he already did the work if I would have knew what it was going to cost, I would have paid the $49 service call and got a hold of somebody else that would have done it reasonable
