I dealt with two lenders back to back. They were both very rude and unprofessional. The reason I tracked out to a second lender is because Bob Martz who was the first lender was indifferent and refused to answer any questions we had and refused to try another person on the application after he could not get me pre approved the first time. The response he did have were very short and vague; however, he did not want to deal with us after that fact. Therefore, our agent suggested that we reach out to another lender whose name is Ray Smith to see how he could help me, seeing how negligent Bob was. Everything went fine at first. I filled out the pre approval application and every time he contacted me, I gave him what he needed. The moment I reached out to him to give him updates and to see how the progress is going he sent me very unprofessional and rude texts back stating that I should go with another lender and how I was trying to rush him. I was not trying to do this at all. I feel communication is important and he never gave me a time limit on when to reach back out to him; therefore, I wanted to confirm everything was flowing smoothly and he did not run into any problems. As a result, I had 2 soft credit checks, very unprofessional experiences, time consuming, and possibly lost out on a house because they refused to do mother than what they had to or they just felt like it was above those pay grade and I was not worth their time and effort. I do have the exchanged emails and Resolution Sought I'm not sure what can be done, Address this issue.

Company Response

Company states: Kandi and Chad submitted an application through Blend to purchase a house. Chad's credit score had dropped to 607 so he could not be approved for a mortgage with any program that we offered. While Kandi's credit score was ok at 756, but she only made $1,144/mo. With her current debt, there was only around $200 left of the 45% of her income to put towards a mortgage. The Loan Officer politely explained all the above details. They emailed the Loan Officer many more times asking questions on different scenarios which they were informed would not work. Kandi mentioned her son had been talking to another lender in an attempt to get Chad's name off his loan so Chad could be on a loan with Kandi. The Loan Officer explained again that with Chad's current credit score, the loan could not get approved with him on a loan. That is when the Loan Officer suggested maybe that another lender could help them where our company could not - maybe another lender would accept lower credit scores.
