I have been running a room at the motel 6 on South Harding Street in Indianapolis Indiana in the GM manager that runs the business has told me that I have the look in my face that I would lie to somebody accusing me of not paying my room the day before been very unprofessional rude yelled at me in front of other customers and there is no hot water at this hotel for a whole week and will not give a discount and he up our rate to more than what we normally pay Resolution Sought I would like for the amount of money that I paid for the room for the week to be reimbursed and I would also like for the pain and suffering of him trying to humiliate me and embarrass me in front of other customers and workers I would like for him to pay for me to be able to go to another location and him to lose his green card and be deported back to his country

Company Response

Mr. Kaufman did stay with Motel 6 from 1/16-2/3/24. He stayed in the room with another guest, this guest and Mr. Kaufman has many personal issues that we had to intervene with and explained if this activity continued that they would be asked to leave. On January 25th, Mr. Kaufman's guest finally was told to leave and that night he paid for a week. There was an agreement with Mr. Kaufman that the guest was not able to return at any point in time to the room because we had to ask her to leave and in Mr. Kaufman's situation woud be able to stay. WIthin 24 hours the guest had returned, and it was then we spoke to him asking him if he remembered us telling him that she could not return at any point. It was then Mr. Kaufman becasue highly agitated and our front desk staff had to call security because he was making threats and tried to call the General Manager out to fight. Security arrived at the front desk and by then it was a highly heated encounter. Mr. Kaufman was cursing and trying to go over the counter at the staff. Another staff called 911 and the Indianapolis Police was dispatched out to help us get him to leave. He will not be reimbursed the money paid since we explained he woud not allow the guest back. He would be told to leave with no refund. As for the pain and suffering, he made a large scene and was verbally abusive calling the General Manager who is Indian descent, a dot head, camel jockey and other racial slurs. As far as losing his green card and being deported, that is not an acceptable settlement. The desired compensation is unreasonable. He has been placed on the locan and national Do Not Rent List to prevent this from happening to others.
