Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

This includes how quickly a company responds to complaints, the number of complaints against a company, whether the company addressed complaint allegations, and the outcome of the complaints. CRI is just a subset of the overall rating for the company. I signed up for the June 7/8th training course with the Motorcycle Academy/Essex at a cost of $290. I completed the required on-line coursework prior to the start of class. When I checked in on the 7th, I specifically asked if my having a Maryland ID would be a problem for my endorsement and was asked if I had a DL to which I confirmed a NC license I have. I was told "let's use that" with no clarity given on I need a MD license to earn/use the endorsement. Wasn't until the course was completed and certificates were being passed out that I was THEN TOLD I would not be getting one due to out of state license. when I brought this up the next day to those working to register/administer participants and all I was told was to see if NC would accept the MD endorsement . I spent the past month on getting my MD license since NC doesn't reciprocate. It seems I owe MD from over 20yrs ago-and I was in San Diego then?! I'm on disability and cannot determine when I'll get/afford the MD license . When contacted again, the Academy affirmed no refunds. There was NEVER any disclosure of this caveat when registering, material or when I started class. Being on disability, it took a minute to come up that amount of $$. Getting back the $290 can help me a lot and not be forced to keep something I can't use or get straight in the 6mos the Academy said I have until I would have to take over again.
