Singed a contract with Moxie Pest Control forTermite treatment 7-7-25 for $700 down & 12mo of $102.27 for the balance. Contract says "effective on this date of initial treatment and 12 months thereafter." First 2 mo were ok then Charged me $110.45 on 10/2 & 11/2 goes till 7/2026. That will be $81.80 more than I signed up for. I called & was told it was a new tax then they had a glitch in their system. "Not my fault I have a singed contract for a certain amount per month & you can't just add additional money every month that wasn't agreed upon. He said we're trying to comply with the Government tax. I said fine but not my fault, you should pay the difference or lower the total cost to include the tax. It's illegal to change a singed contract. On 11/17 they added $9.52 to my mouse contract of 4/30/25, Feb & May of 2026 will be $11.12 more each that's another $31,76 more that I wasn't told about. For a Total of $113.56. They don't tell you ahead of time just charge my C.C.Co. First, at my door on 4/30 they said neighbors all use them, NO lied. Second, sent me an e-mail with amount that was higher than quoted fortunately I have ring doorbell & sent him the recording. Third, bent a locked gate to get into my yard instead of asking me to open it. Fourth, added additional charges per month. Found out now they have a D- rating & many complaints, if my husband hadn't died last year & I hadn't just gotten out of the Hospital for the 4th time I wouldn't have taken them. Resolution Sought Stop them charging me additional money. Let me out of both with no additional charges for all the trouble he put me through I don't know if Termite bait works, mouse bait isn't caught 2 in my own house traps & 2 got away. I paid $99 down & $139 every 3 months from 4/30/25 to 5/2026 I Lost my husband of 60 years or this wouldn't have happened I'm on a very limited budget with months to pay on both & sick of fighting them. I'm sick & on Oxygen all this trouble is causing stress not good for me.
