Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers in LAPLATA, MD almost took me out yesterday 3/13/21. You pride yourselves on safety but Safety wasn't the priority today when your manager at the Laplata, MD location tried to SCAM me on repairs and put my life at risk!!!! Cops were called and YOUR MANAGER refused to cooperate!!! This supposedly experienced manager kept my car for 7 hours to do a break and rotor change, oil change and replace ALL four tires. Overcharged me AND allowed me to drive off KNOWING he damaged my car. I immediately came back within 3 minutes and ALMOST RAN INTO YOUR BUILDING because my BREAKS DIDNT WORK!!! Your manager could BARELY open the building door to get out I WAS THAT CLOSE/ he knowingly put my life at risk. I WILL BE SEEKING LEGAL ACTION !!! Not to mention when I called the cops, YOUR MANAGER dropped my keys on my car and told me to GET OFF THE PROPERTY. Even the cop was stunned by this behavior. The manager goes inside the building and LOCKS THE DOOR!!! When I told him the police department wanted to know his name, he yells through the door that he was NOT opening it and that the officer can get his name when he got there...Which he STILL refused to do when they got there. My car has to be left there because it wouldn't START and They now have to figure out the damages they've done. I knew something was wrong when it took HOURS to change tires, do an oil change and replace brakes and rotors. The time was really spent covering up damages done t Resolution Sought Fully completed and CORRECT REPAIRS. I want corporate to reach out to me to resolve this matter as MY LIFE was almost ended by the NEGLIGENCE of their store manager. I want a REFUND for the brakes, rotors, AND labor to install them because the brakes GAVE OUT on me while driving on the highway where I was almost hit by other vehicles AND where I almost ran into the mr tire building because my brakes WOULD NOT STOP MY CAR! Your managers behavior toward me and the police officer was disgraceful.

I would like to apologize that we had not received your letter of complaint from DanShell until today May 26, 2021. By looking at the envelope the letter had been sent to the store location itself and unfortunately, they do not respond to these complaints. Our office has spoken with DanShell and her case was being handled by our insurance company Travelers. According to our notes Travelers reimbursed DanShell $869.00 for a rental paid to have the vehicle towed to the dealership $115.39. as well as covered the repairs on the vehicle in the amount of $6,413.76 and $1,070.39 in supplement pay also. Our office has also accepted the Credit Card Dispute that DanShell did with the Credit Card company in the amount that was paid to our shop for the services in the amount of $2,112.87.
