Multi-South Management Services complaints

I moved out of the crossings at fox meadows apartments on sept. 29, 2023. Before i left the premises i returned the house key as well as the mailbox key to management. After almost 3 months of residing at this residence my car was stolen on dec. 12, 2023 where security was on duty & my house was also broken into jan. 7, 2023 a month later. I filed a report & asked corporate to release me from my lease due to safety hazards. The entry of my house was not forced. Someone had a key & ram shacked my apartment. This too was also informed to corporate. After being turned down about being released, i stayed for the remainder of my 12 month lease. I've been waiting for them to send my refund deposit ever since i moved. Management told me that it was mailed to the address that i had just moved from (the residence on their premises.) When i spoke with corporate of multi-south management they told me that it was mailed to my new address which was the forwarding address that i emailed them on oct. 24, 2023. Upon more research corporate saw that the check was forged with my signature and cashed 14 days later on nov. 14, 2023. I returned the keys to management on sept. 29, 2023 including the mailbox key. Management checked my mailbox about a week ago & gave me my mail but the check wasnt in there. They also moved in someone from their department in my old apartment on dec. 15, 2023. Family of management also stayed next door to me as well before break in occurred Resolution Sought I would like my refund deposit sent out to me and i would also like for them to be under review due to fraudulent activity. The break in & car theft causes me to have to transfer my children's school & move in with my mother due to unsafety,, not being released from my lease,, & unable to get to work. I still paid them rent every month on time even though i wasn't even staying there. Over 3k in payments to someone who set me up to be robbed & forged my signature for 785 dollars as well
