They never sent an estimate, they never returned my phone call, they wouldn't send my deposit refund until I showed up asking
I'd give no stars if it was an option. I had a water pump issue and since there'd been a cancellation someone was able to come a couple days later after I placed a deposit which I figured was standard practice for them. Nothing was done as the pump was of course not acting up, but a possible solution was stated and since he was there I gave a list of other plumbing issues I wanted dealt with. He said an estimate would be written up and sent soon. Well a couple weeks later, no estimate. I called and was told the plumber would be given the message but the invoice may have been sent with an estimate in it. Another couple weeks later still nothing and no returned phone call. I called again and said I wanted my deposit back. She said that his visit was $110 and a check would be sent for the remaining balance. Well true to form no check arrived so I drove in and requested a check. I was told the computer says a check had been cut. Well guess what no check had been cut so a check was cut right then. I left with no sense that anyone was truly sorry for the fiasco and I still received no invoice. So they made $110 by doing nothing. The owner never even called to apologize. Now Covid can not be used as an excuse ie. being backlogged because a good business person wouldn't have taken on possible new customers if they knew there'd be a long wait or they could even have just kept me informed instead of leaving me hanging. So Fred's Plumbing was called and in no time a plumber was out and an estimate received quickly and within a couple weeks all plumbing issues were addressed. So if you have plumbing needs NEVER GIVE A DEPOSIT and go with someone else. Nadeau's just doesn't have a good sense of business whether it's the plumber or the office staff and it's a rip-off that they require a deposit. I guess that must be how they keep customers. The person holds on because they've put money down and they hope to hear back from them at some point. Lesson learned.
