This is a old debt that the statute of limitation has or should have expired quit some time ago yet is still being held against me and should have expired quit sometime ago!. I have contacted National Credit Adjusters to resolve this issue but the only response I can get from them is a repeated computer generated response back from them!. I am considering filing a small claims/civil lawsuit against them. Resolution Sought I would like them to fix this problem and give me a new credit score in which I deserve and have deserved for quit sometime but have been denied. I feel due to the nature of what they have did to me for quit sometime now and that it still isn't none of their concern that a lawsuit is a must!

NCA has reviewed your correspondence as well as our records, In order to validate the customer's Speedy Cash account original #41258711, we have included a copy of the original account documentation for review to BCA. Our records indicate a copy was sent to him via mail on 2.20.24. Further, our records indicate that on 2.16.24, NCA placed the account into a "Call Attorney Only" status, which effectively ceases further communications to him in regards to his account. Any futher communication will be directed to his attorney's office.The law limits how long one can be sued on a debt. Because of the age of the debt, we will not sue him for it. If he does not pay the debt, NCA may continue to report it to the credit reporting agencies as unpaid for as long as the law permits this reporting.

How long does the law allow for you to report it to credit agencies and when did the incident occur? And what does emailing me about it on 2-20-20 have to do with a debt that occured years ago?
