I eventually learned of a "rental" debt on my account. I contacted the actual place I rented from as I was confused because when I lived there a few years back there was constant number of complaints on my behalf due to the inappropriate behavior and actions from the staff at the time. We moved shortly after due to a family member or mine out or state getting ill and passing away. I gave them notice and we were told that all was good and we didn't owe and wouldn't be charged anything. Due to then never returning the deposit which is always common anymore I didn't care. I find out that they did put it on my record and this debt collector now has it. I've tried calling and never heard back. I disputed it only to have it denied. I even filed a deletion removal on advice from my lawyer and then after a week I get a call. Trying to make me pay for the debit that isn't mine btw as they went over a form of what we "owe" apparently and all of it is laughable. I proceeded to show my lawyer who also told me I shouldn't pay it. I contacted them back to inform them and a woman was rude and unprofessional. She kept interrupting me. When I mentioned about the neglect behavior of the rental property she has the audacity to accuse me of being the neglect one as though she was there herself and knew me personally. She then demanded I pay and I just informed her that I'm not paying a debt I'm not responsible for especially when their known to not remove debt once paid. I'll file bankruptcy. Resolution Sought Remove the debt from my account.

I moved out of apartment may31st I never updated my address because I had to go homeless to save money. The apartment complex had my number they never called me and sent final bill to national credit systems right away, so I never even knew about the bill I thought there was security deposit to cover. I still don't have an address because I'm homeless but everybody has my number. So now I have a charge off on my account and wasn't even aware Resolution Sought To have my credit not hit so hard because I would have paid the original credit which is chase run apartments if they would have told me about the bill . They had my number and my email
