I am a blacksmith and custom knife maker and I occasionally do my own epoxy resin casting for handles on my knives and I was about to start a new project and needed some black pigment to mix with my epoxy and on several occasions I have used tattoo ink as it is much cheaper and better mixes with the epoxy I use. So I happen to have this tattoo company pop up on Facebook and I thought what perfect timing I'll just order some from them so I ordered a single 1 ounce bottle of black pigment and at no time during this did it say they had to have a license to buy this pigment and they happily took my money and then sent me an invoice saying that it was getting ready to ship etc. Then the next day they sent me an email saying that I needed to provide proof that I was a professional licensed tattoo artist or they would be refunding my money minus 20 bucks. I was like what is this scam?? So I emailed them back telling them that I had no intention of using this pigment for tattooing and if its a problem then just refund ALL my money and I'll go elsewhere. But again they said they'd be keeping 20 bucks and refunding the rest which was 1.15 one dollar and fifteen cents. I emailed them and told them I would be filing a complaint with the BBB but they don't care. I feel like this is a scam to trick people into buying their products and if that person doesn't have a license for tattooing then they steal 20 bucks of their money. Resolution Sought I just want my 20 bucks back as I'm not rich and 20 bucks is a lot of money to me. And if this business was really trying to just keep non licensed tattoo artist from buying their products they should not take the money first. This is a scam business.
