Nelson was hired to do my income taxes for 2020 and file a amendment for me S IRS claims I did not file in 2018 which they say I now owe taxes for it. Anyways nelson is a licensed tax preparer and told me he can fix my papers so I won't owe any money and he will be able to get me a refund. So I paid him half of the 1400.00 he was charging me and up to this date he has not filed one single document to the IRS since April 2021 and I continued receiving letters for payment owed. I contact Nelson to inform him that nothing been received at IRS he then told me not to worry that he has a receipt and tracking number for the docents filed. When I asked if I can have that information so I can give it to IRS that's when he told me he didn't have it and it's not been done. I then asked at that moment not to do anything for me cause he been lying to me all this time. To just please return my papers and my money. He is refusing to do so. And now I'm here asking you for help in what I should do next. Supposedly Nelson is a employee of the IRS auditor or former employee. Resolution Sought Have my money and paperwork returned

Company states: Please ask the client to call me back, I've been trying to get in touch with her, but she doesn't return my calls. I wanted to explain why her taxes were declined. It is because there are issues with her taxes from 2016, 2017 & 2018. We would like to continue to assist her, but we need her to contact us.

I have stated to him that I no longer want his assist in filing my taxes. I trusted him when he told me he had already sent the amendment which was not true. All I asked him is to please return my documents and my money. It will be greatly appreciated. I have no records of him trying to contact me not by Email, Text Messag nor phone calls. Thank you very Carol Martin
