Melinda Alba, owner, did not provide consultation to allow me to make an informed choice regarding a small hair piece to fill in a small thinning area of hair. She significantly overcharged me for a small, poor quality synthetic hair piece ($375 plus tax). She refused to provide a brand or maker's name or any tags that would describe its quality or care requirements. She exploited my very limited knowledge about this type of product by misinforming me about various aspects and qualities of hair pieces. Additionally, she did not properly advise me about color matching, resulting in color that does not match my hair color. When I contacted her, she refused to answer my questions or make any effort at all to remedy my complaints. Resolution Sought I would like to be issued a refund.

I am so surprised by your comments. And even after we spoke, you know very good and well that you were completely satisfied with your purchase when you left my "Private" salon. I spent an hour plus with you and answered EVERY question you asked and yet you say I did not let you make an informed choice? I do not pressure anyone to make a purchase. As a matter of fact, because I know that there are predatory people out looking to unjustifiably make gains on small businesses, it is my standard operating procedure to ask ALL customers twice if they are satisfied BEFORE I cut off the descriptive informational tags from the products because I DO NOT sell used wigs. All my wigs have tags. You watched me cut the tags. They were there for your taking. You had a choice to change the color of the wig at that time or, get a FULL REFUND. And if you would have chosen to change the color, I could have sent it back because it still had the tags. However, I can't exchange it if the tags are cut. You said you were happy with the color. Once again, I asked you if you were happy with it before I cut the piece and you said you were happy with it and you were going to keep it. In addition, I also have a large printed out notification at the exit of my suite visible for all to see that ALL SALES ARE FINAL DUE TO STATE CODE. As far as the quality of my wigs go, they are the highest quality wigs available for the varying budgets and price points that customers are willing to pay. I stand behind my products as I mentioned before with you and all my customers. I am completely shocked that you would suggest that you would leave negative reviews across the internet unless I compensate you in some manner; completely shocking. Every one of my customers have appreciated the quality and service I have provided to them and have justly left honest reviews. I am truly sorry that you went from completely happy and satisfied when you were in my chair to upset after 4 days of having the piece. Then you continually threatened me over many text messages to slander my business on the internet until you received a FULL REFUND. I also did reply to you. For some reason you feel that I must drop everything I'm doing at that moment in time and reply to you instantaneously. You know I did reply to your messages on MY available time. I got so tired of your threats and because I am an honest businessperson, you said you be satisfied if I gave you half your money back and I did at my loss. Two days later you still choose to disparage my business on this website. It is sad to think that there are more and more scammers out there just trying their best to make gains on small businesses.
