Date: 3/11/2026 Against: New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Group (NJM) Subject: Complaint for Violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act To Whom It May Concern, I am filing this complaint against New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Group (NJM) for deceptive and unfair practices in connection with the handling of my automobile insurance claim. I believe the conduct of NJM constitutes violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act (N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq.). Following an accident involving my vehicle, NJM assigned claims adjuster Gentiana Brahimaj to handle the claim. Ms. Brahimaj did not personally inspect the vehicle it was at Kia dealership for over 3 weeks for inspection   NJM represented that the total damage to the vehicle was approximately $525 based primarily on the dealership's assessment. However, the adjuster who inspected the vehicle did not conduct a full inspection of the entire vehicle, and the adjuster's estimate was never properly incorporated into the claim evaluation. As a result, NJM relied almost entirely on the dealership's limited assessment rather than conducting a complete and independent evaluation of the vehicle. This created an inaccurate and misleading valuation of the damage. After the claim was processed, the vehicle was eventually repossessed and sold at auction for approximately $3,900.
