I was overcharged and left on delivered after my hair coloring service did not go as planned. Upon consultation I was told that the service would take a maximum of 3 hours. I showed her a photo during the consultation depicting the red/violet tone I wanted my highlights to look like. She said that I should look at the Shades EQ chart to see which one I liked. This is exactly what I did, and told her how I wanted a mix of sangria or merlot. She did not have either shade available so I even offered to have my friend pick some up. She said this would be okay, or that she could mix a formula yourself. Not wanting to be unprofessional or overstep myself, I trusted her when she said she could mix the formula herself. She reassured me that hers would be able to provide me with the results I wanted. The service took 4 hours, and the color did not come out like how I wanted. After receiving negative comments, I texted her to ask if she could fix her mistakes. I did not receive a reply, and spent the whole day after fixing my hair. In the end, I dyed it back to black. After spending 400 dollars on my hair for nothing, I reached out to New Moon in hopes to receive a partial refund, knowing that New Moon admitted herself that the service did not go as planned. New Moon stated how the service too longer that anticipated because she had to mix her own color. The color she gave me was not what I wanted, so those extra hours in essence meant nothing to me. I related all this to New Moon hopi Resolution Sought I want the business to refund me the 400 dollars, or at least give me a partial refund.
