I have filed 2 complaints about this company with the FTC # 169293365, second was files today # 170780078. Both are about deceptive and misleading advertising, I will be happy to forward the complaints if requested to do so. Briefly, the mortgage company New Day USA is advertising that the consumer should pay off there high rate credit cards in some cases 22 to 30 with a lower rate from New Day USA. Even if the rate was 30 since credit card are based on a annual rate (APR ),that would be 2.5 monthly. Mortgages are based on simple interest, monthly, most of the payment is interest. There are not disclosing this in there advertising. Personally, I don't believe most people understand what is going on here. It should be disclosed that mortgages are over a longer period of time with a different type of interest calculation. That 's why the payment is going down but the rate is going substantially higher costing them thousands over the life of the mortgage. If New Day USA wants to solicit refinances, that's fine but they should not be able to deceive the public into thinking that this would be in there overall best interests. Hopefully you will be able to assist in this mater and advise this mortgage company to stop deceiving the public. Thank You! Resolution Sought Change there deceptive and misleading advertising.

New day USA lost part of my mortgage payment. I submitted proof of the payment to them at least three times; they kept me in limbo for several months. All the while telling me they were looking into it; but never did. Eventually I filed an official complaint and their higher level customer service reached out; telling me they were going to make everything right; but never did. I received official notice my loan was being transferred to a new company starting October 4th 2022. My church stepped in and helped us get current with New Day USA before we were transferred. As soon as that was done I got a new statement from New Day saying what my next payment was due on November 1st 2022. I reached out to New Day USA for clarification. They will answer the phone get my name; the. Put me on hold and hang up a few minutes later. This is not professional nor fair. They should not be allowed to play games with people. Resolution Sought I want them to issue an official apology from a upper level supervisor. I would also like them credit my account or refund the lost payment and to honor the transfer they told me was coming.
