I purchased three gallon purified Kirkland's water a few months ago. I went to get this out my garage and noticed that it wasn't lemonade it was purified water kurtland purified water? I called the company to ask them how did your water turn yellow and it has a chalky white film that stuck in the inside of the bottle? They informed me to send the unopened container to them. They gather a shipping label and box for me to send the unopened container in to FedEx . I boxed it and send it back inside the shipping label that was sent to me the same day and they picked it back up and send it up to them. I have been talking to whoever the manager name is Lauren and Danielle. Week by week I call and ask them have they found a result to why the water was like that? they claim to tell me now just Friday that they were not able to find any results because the the bottle was open? That is totally a lie because I made videos and pictures and sent it to them before I sent the bottle off for their labs and I showed these videos and photos to them? They're basically trying to cover their behind because they know something was in that water but they're not going to tell the consumer? I need help trying to get proper solution to the company if I sent you guys a video of this yellow residue that turn the water yellow why is it that you guys didn't give me back a true statement to what you found instead of lying and said that the container was open and we couldn't do anything please help Resolution Sought TELL THE TRUTH! Provide the consumers the real evidence to what made this water turn yellow w chalky white residue that was inside ? Yes I drink the other two bottles my only thing that's going with me is hair loss ? That not fair what kind of water is that and why didn't they at least submit a letter to what they really found, because I know they tested it!. In that case why did you take them 2 weeks to review or test the product if was already open? That's a load of crap they opened it themsel

We made arrangements to retrieve the gallon and explained our testing policy with any open bottle (Pursuant to our policy "No testing of opened bottles", no analytical testing will be conducted due if a bottle is received opened. We follow the recommendations (and practice) of our state and federal inspectors, and do not test unsealed products. This is our internal policy, and Niagara has developed it after discussions with other food manufacturers, customers, state and federal regulatory agencies in addition to industry experts.). She was upset that the lab confirmed the gallon was previously opened. She expressed that she did not believe us or our laboratory and was not sure what she was going to do next. We did explain our bottling process in detail and that the sample would have been further analyzed if it was sealed upon arrival. We also assured her that we have had no other reports. Lab notes received:Test Results: One opened sample was received at the Corporate QA Laboratory on June 29th, 2022. The sample contains a yellow liquid. The bottle is clear and colorless. The off color of the liquid was likely introduced post-production. Our facility also found no issues observed with retain samples including no off color. All taste and odor testing passed. No filler issues during time in question and all quality testing for the run was within specification as well. Consumer first contact: Called our office on 6/22/22 Product: Kirkland Signature Purified Water with Minerals, 1 Gallon Date of Purchase: 4/19/22 Ref#112208A Please let me know if further information is needed.
