I I would like the outcome to be the store to stop charging to use my credit or debit card because I am on disability and limited on money

Every time I use my convenience store near where I live with my debit or credit card I am wondering for a reasons why the price is higher than what I'm purchasing. I've never was told that the guy at the store charges you to use your card instead of giving cash. I want to understand how that is legal and how he is able to just charge it without telling me let alone he makes you have to have a $10 minimum in order to use your card and then he also takes off a certain amount of money just because you used it I find this to be very unfair and I don't think this should be legal at all
