My 2017 Nissan rogue has a clicking noise every time I make a turn after taking it to two shops they both said it is the coupler which is going to cost me $1,700 that I don't have. I bought my rogue outright for $18,000 in 2018. They printed me out a recall on couplers for rogues on the two previous years but not the 2017. After calling customer service and given a major attitude telling me if there was an issue with the couplers in 17 rouges they would have been recalled. So it's just coincidental that it happened to mine and there's a recall on the previous years... It is all over the Internet that rogue is known for transmission issues and coupler. Resolution Sought I would like to have my coupler replaced by Nissan at no cost.

I purchased a 2017 Nissan rogue outright in 2018 for $18,000. It currently has 78,000 miles on it it has started making a clicking noise mainly when I turn at low speed. However, it sometimes will do it when not turning. I have had it at two different shops and it is the coupler. They're apparently has been a recall on road couplers on a few years previous to mine. When I called customer service the guy was very rude and stated if there was a problem with 2017 couplers there would be a recall on them. He further stated that the recall is on couplers from recent previous years. Okay, so you were telling me that I missed the recall by a year and it is just coincidental that my coupler is bad?? He stated he would document my concerns. Okay sir, that does not help the fact that I have to come up with $1700 out of my pocket to fix a coupler that clearly rogue has issues with. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated when I called customer service. Resolution Sought I would like my coupler replaced.
