We had our first attempt at doing business with this company approximately 2 years ago. We asked for quotes on supplies only to be continuously sent product pricing sheets as opposed to an actual quote. We requested numerous times to just receive a quote, at which time Jacob Arnold just continued sending us their price sheet. They would put together any type of document listing prices, we had no idea about any additional fees, taxes, shipping, minimums, nothing. Just sent list of pricing for me to try and figure out how they might complete a quote. So we went with someone else. Fast forward two years later, we dealt with the same exact process until I finally said either send me a quote or we will move on. They finally sent a quote. All seemed good, and we purchased approximately 4k worth of product for our first shipment. We were given a delivery date for a Friday. The shipper called and asked if i could be there before business hours, which i agreed to. I waited around all day and never received delivery, a call, email, etc. I had a trip to leave for that day, but stuck around until 12pm, delaying my trip to receive the order. My employee arrives at noon, so I left then. I never heard anything to assumed the order had been delivered. I come back Sunday to see nothing was delivered. We then receive another call from the shipper saying they had truck problems and would deliver Monday. We are closed Monday, so I stayed at the shop from 9am to 5pm with no delivery, until about Resolution Sought 3pm when they called and said more truck problems, and they can't deliver until Wednesday. This forced us to purchase from another supplier, overnight, at an extent rate. We missed deliveries as well. After weeks of pestering me for write ups, explanations, etc.. they finally offered to cover only 300, explaining that's all the shipper would cover. Absolutely no accountability from Nordic. It was now a "us problem". Never spoke to management after requests, and they've lost our account.
