I put my car in the shop. They said it was oil pump and oil pump switch. I paid for it they did the work. When my car got out the shop it was doing same thing. So I took it to a different shop. And they told me it was the engine. They had me pay 1500.00 dollars outta pocket when I didn't need a oil pump or the switch. They misdiagnosed my car had me pay for something I don't need and now they want me to bring the car back to put a engine at 10000.00 dollars. Resolution Sought I want them to cover and replace my engine since they at fault for misdiagnosis my car and trying to get me outta more money

Mr. Pace just purchased his vehicle froma "B" lot recently. He came in for a diagnosis on brakes grinding, engine light on, overheating, won't start without a boost. The only repair authorized was the oil pump, all other repairs were declined. The customer was advised there is oil in the coolant and possible internal engine failure and it is documented in the repair order. Mr. Pace called me and I explained this to him. There was no misdiagnosis, there is a refusal to do the repairs. Mr. Pace also stated he has a warranty but he cannot use it inside of the 30 day purchase window. Shouldn't the selling dealer/lot be the one assisting the customer? A recently purchased vehicle from a business should not need these and other repairs inside of a 30 day window.
