They are using improper collection practices acting on behalf of balance credit. They are calling individuals not listed as references and telling them information. They are giving names of other individuals, and giving the information they claimed to have received from those individuals in efforts to collect additional info. They are obviously finding people who are possibly related to me through internet searches and they are calling individuals I have no recent contact with individuals I haven't spoke to in over 10 years. The agent doing this says her name is Natalie Gray she is rude and disgusting and also hung up on me when I tried to understand exactly what this process is supposed to look like. The number she left is 844-345-4081 Resolution Sought Cease and desist

Thank you for allowing Northtown Capital Services Group the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We do have a matter in our office that was placed with us regarding an individual by the name of MS. BENNETT. We had issued a Dunning Notice, as required by law, on July 7, 2021. This notice was sent to the address provided to the original creditor by Ms. Bennett at,DETROIT MI, 48221, with no mail return from her. We have attempted to verify location information by the means of third parties, which is in accordance with all State and Federal guidelines. You may reference, FDCPA Sec 15 US Code 1692b; Acquisition of Location Information, to verify the laws, and that "NCSG" is one hundred percent in accordance with it. We as a company, pride ourselves on following all laws and regulations that govern our business and protect one's individual rights and identity. So, we apologize for any misconception of the laws, but they are set forth for consumer protection. Our office had one and only one sole conversation with Ms. Bennett on phone number listed as XXX-XXX-XXXX, where we did verify her identity using her Date of Birth as well as her Social Security Number. NCSG has followed all rules and regulations regarding Ms. Bennett's account, as previously stated we are governed by state and federal laws in which we closely monitor and follow. We do accept this complaint from Ms. Bennett as a written cease and desist and again will not attempt to reach her by any means. We would be happy to discuss this matter in further length if needed or desired.
