Notre Dame Credit Union 574-400-4850 removed "escheated" our money and closed our account due to inactivity. I had activity on this account approximately 4 years ago. This was a joint account begun when my daughter was a minor; it is in her name and mine --I am her mother. She is in the military and lives in Florida. I have and always have lived within 5 miles of this credit union. They stated they reached out to us, yet I can prove that is false due to the longevity of my phone number and address. I was attempting to move money into this account today, only to learn it was closed. We should NOT have to do the leg work to seek a return of OUR money!!! I am extremely upset. Resolution Sought Reinstate the account and the money, REACH OUT to account holders Casey & Mary J Brunner and mail HARD COPY FORM via US mail to our respective addresses explaining their policy of account inactivity!!!

Trying to pay your home mortgage with this company is next to near impossible. If you call their phone number, wait the 30 minutes to pay by phone for 9$ which not only is completely automated , it doesn't repeat ANY info back to verify anything was correct. I enter the same info every month and every 6 months or so it magically doesn't work. They then take a week to tell you even if you call nd themselves .Just call them and give confirmation code right? I did that and all I get is shrugs and another late fee. Go and pay in person despite hours being a joke? Yea they mess that up and ask for wrong amount,, oops another fee... But wait there's a website, the ONLY way to pay w/ out a fee if you work bankers hours. It mysteriously disables your account 5 days before and leading up to your payment. Or is down for maintenance literally every other month. I have had them reset and reactivate my account 50 times in 3 years! I also have pics of it disabled right now again! I'll call tomorrow I'm sure for more I don't knows and shrugs which I'll record. This is nothing but an obvious cash grab company that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to pay your bills to add on fees and make it to where you can't remove the bs "mortgage insurance" a scam where they charge me monthly to insure them if I don't pay them? Please look into this. Check my credit you'll see I pay on time w everyone BUT this company. Also I ask for No money back just hold them to some form of decency.Thank you for your time. Resolution Sought Just make it to where I can pay my bill in under an hour, be able to verify where it's coming from, if it's processing, literally anything at all to just verify it's PAID!This is supposed to be a fortune 500 company and I can't even pay my home mortgage? Seriously I dare you to set up an account and try to pay. I swear you'll see that this is the worst, most difficult company to deal with.
