Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

I purchased a bathtub from Oceanstone in 2016 for a new home construction. I paid $2500 for the tub. The tub I ordered was white stone and when it arrived on the shipping truck, the crate was busted and the tub was scratched down the side. I refused the shipment and it was returned to sender. The only tub they had at that time was a terracota colored tub. I agreed to take that one and it was then shipped. The tub arrived in the crate with no visible flaws or cracks. Obviously I couldn't tell until after it was removed from crate that it had a significant crack running vertically down the side and it did leak. We attempted to repair the crack with some filler for concrete and caulking. This tub has been used very minimally due to the fear of the crack leaking. However with the minimal use the finish has come off on the inside of the tub and it looks and feels like rough concrete and additional cracking has appeared below the finish which leads me to believe they were covered up from the start. I've reached out to Oceanstone and have gotten no resolution. They have sent me websites and information on how to refinish, which seems unacceptable. I have asked for a refund and have gotten no response at all. This tub is so large that I will literally have to use a sledgehammer to bust it up to remove it and replace it. I have photos of the cracks and finish if necessary. Resolution Sought I would like a refund of my $2500 .
