On mother's Day of 2023 my battery died and through my insurance company I had someone from this company come out check my battery and replace it here I am less than a year later with a dead battery and I called him to check for a warranty and he said that he will only cover it if it's a bad battery I took it to AutoZone they confirmed it was a bad battery and this man still will not replace it because "their bad battery and his bad battery may be two different things" he's backpedaling and he's not interested in doing the right thing. The battery itself says there's a 2-year warranty and it's not even been one year. I have to purchase a new battery out of pocket from AutoZone even though there should be a warranty on this battery. Resolution Sought I'd like to have the battery reimbursed.

Customer was given the opportunity for us to come out and test the battery and refused. We do not warranty discharged batteries and we were never given the opportunity to determine if the battery was discharged or bad. We do not accept 3rd party claims that a battery is bad. No reimbursement will be given. We have to present bad batteries to the manufacturer for warranty and discharged batteries aren't covered under warranty period.

I was going to be charged for them coming out to test the battery just to tell me that they didn't believe what another professional told me. They should have come out for free and tested the battery and handled it accordingly he seemed very bothered by my call and very defensive.

She was told that if it was a Discharged Battery it would not be covered, She asked what our normal service call was and was told it was $75 , Again we weren't given the opportunity to test the battery and she was told we do not accept 3rd party testing because they are not honest and are only looking to sell the customer a new battery, We do not operate in that manner and we have thousands of very satisfied customers to prove it, There has only been 1 legitimately bad battery tested in the last 3 years and in 99 percent of the cases that a battery fails within the warranty period it is discharged from non use for an extended period or a drain issue in said vehicle. We have even gone as far as removing a drained battery from a customer vehicle and recharging it for them.
