I got along with this place and I'm supposed to pay $57 every two weeks and they are supposed to only charge me on Fridays well they have been charging me on Mondays and Wednesdays and more frequently than every two weeks they've been over drafting my bank and I need this to stop I've paid them 456 to every 100 that I borrowed Resolution Sought I want them prosecuted I don't think they can charge 500 for every 100 I borrowed.

We received the complaint you filed with the Business Consumer Alliance on June 24, 2022, regarding the servicing for your Oportun personal loan. We regret that our service did not meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide an exceptional level of service to our customers. We investigated your claim, and a review of our records shows that you obtained an $2100.00 loan with Oportun on March 14, 2022, repayable in payments of $57.06, due every two weeks on a Friday with the final payment due on March 15, 2024. Our records indicate that on March 14, 2022, you were advised of the terms of your loan, such as payment frequency, payment amounts, origination fee, and when a late fee is applied. We have attached a copy of your Loan Disclosure Statement and Promissory Note signed by you prior to your loan being disbursed. Unfortunately, once these documents are signed the terms of your loan cannot be modified. In accordance with your original Loan Disclosure Statement and Promissory Note, payments are due every two weeks on a Friday. Please note that every payment received is first applied to late charges (if applicable), then to interest, and finally to the principal balance. Our records indicate that all payments have been processed correctly and applied as indicated. As a reminder, please note that payments processed from your bank account can take up to 5 business days to be collected, therefore it may reflect a different date from your original payment date on your bank statement. I tried to apply for a credit card, I filled the application and then, I was approved. Then they say they will send the card 5 to 7 days but it was never sent, I called customer service which is terrible and gave me the number for customer service turns out the same number that I just dial, they are deceptive with that business, they lied. Resolution Sought Oportun should send me that card or they should face legal action.

We received your complaint on March 25, 2022, with the Business Consumer Alliance regarding not receiving the Oportun Visa Credit Card, issued by WebBank, Member FDIC and we regret that our service did not meet your expectations. It is our goal to provide an exceptional level of service to our customers. We understand that you have not yet received your Oportun Visa Credit Card and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. Based on our review of your complaint, we can confirm that the account was approved on February 15, 2022. The Welcome Kit and physical card were shipped on February 23, 2022, to the address provided during the application process. On March 23, 2022, we processed an address change and have confirmed this request is complete and the replacement card has shipped as of March 28, 2022, to the above address.
