Acknowledge diners!!!! Do your job, can be very easy.

My father came up to Ak for 2 weeks given I just had his only grandson. My fiancé and I decided to take him out to eat since he was leaving Saturday a day before father's day at his favorite restaurant. We were seated at a table my dad's a big guy. We looked at the menus... Were chatting picked out everything we all 3 wanted. We kept looking at all the people wait staff, staff my dad kept looking at his watch. For 20 min we were not even spoken to not even I'll be right with you. No questions of drinks which is first for starters and no bread. I was sitting there very embarrassed and shocked! My dad got up walked out and we had kind words to the hostess. Not her fault. Needless to say very shocked and never ever seen this kind of service before. We really wanted to eat there and we usually love all the staff and most of all the food when we go. We left and it made me think... I didn't want to say nothing to staff my family and I did not want s***** service. What an experience. People can be A-holes but in this case we were not. Staff is there and business is run from customers how can such happen. Not even an acknowledgement for over 30 min!
