The owner Terrence at the beginning was very easy to work with and kind. I awarded the job to him and he did the project. He did the foundation for my in law suit and poured the concrete for the new driveway. The driveway was looking good for the first 23 days and after that it cracked everywhere. The cost for the driveway was $19500. While he was digging for the base he damaged 2 of the underground down spots. He never told me that he did and he poured the driveway. Water was laying underneath the driveway and when the weather got cold and froze the driveway was damaged and popped everywhere. This also caused damage to the old concrete sidewalks that were there for 8 years and had no damage before. Terrence assured me that he will correct the issue. He put it on his insurance and the insurance told me that they wouldn't cover it because he use a subcontractor to do the job. I was not aware of this deal, I was dealing with him and it was not covered under the contract. The contract was stating that the concrete would have a thickness of 4 inches. That was also a lie. The concrete thickness is less than ; inches and has insufficient base. He used pebble stone for it. I have photos and dates of the damaged concrete and the the base. The contractor that he used without letting me know is Winter's Concrete out of West Middlesex PA. My mother in law is very sick and the way it looks we will lose car access to the in law suite. I hope you can help us! Kind regard Resolution Sought The only thing that I am asking is to make this right. Redo the concrete driveway that he did unprofessionally and fix the damages that did to my property. I paid my bill with no complaints and I think that I deserve to be happy with the outcome. I have already paid $ 2300 to reroute one out of the 2 damaged down spout and this is really hurting us. If not, I would like my money back to hire someone else to do it the right way.
