I booked a room and stayed for 2 nights when I went back to get my deposit they said I smoked in the room and that's not true at all I'm not even a smoker. Resolution Sought Give me my deposit back

Company states; We received a complaint from a Ms. Myers regarding a $100 security deposit that was retained due to the guest smoking in the room. We are requesting some additional information, specifically the dates of her stay and the room number. We looked through August and September records and did not see a Myers registered with us. We would like to get to the bottom of this matter and any additional information that you might be able to provide may help us find the guest's folio and see about the deposit.
