I hired PNW law February 2023, and signed contract with Renna Vanacore in the Tri Cities WA office. At the time, I had asked if it's ok for my case to be in Yakima county and was told yes. They started to do some stuff in regards to my case. But, shortly after, in March 2023, I received a call from a Karina Gomez saying she was from the Yakima office and would be now taking over my case. I was NEVER asked to sign a new contract with Karina as my new attorney, and also I was NEVER made aware that Karina is NOT an attorney. She is a limited licensed legal technician. That two issues right there was a HUGE red flag.I had very limited contact with Karina, and anytime I asked for any updates, return my calls or emails, I was met with silence. When I had left a review about my frustration I was called within hours from Karina, telling me to remove my review. And at the time told me she would have my case work ready for me to review and sign. This was April 2023. Weeks later, I still hadn't received anything from Karina or even a call. After constantly calling and emailing she finally got a hold of me to tell me in 3 weeks I would have my case to review and sign. We are now into May 2023. I finally took it up on myself to fire the firm June 1 2023 and try to take my case to court myself. Within two weeks of my own doing I had a court date,motions signed by judge, other part served,ECT. I DID IN TWO WEEKS WHAT THIS FIRM DID NOT DO IN FOUR MONTHS. Resolution Sought I received the check Aug 5 2023. I will include a picture of the check. To my shock, the check was NOT even the amount I had left in my trust account, and definitely did not have a penny from charges by Karina paid back to me. It is now July 17 2023. I had tried NUMEROUS times to contact the office to see why I wasn't paid what they promised me, and to fix it. After numerous attempts to find out why I wasn't paid correctly, I was met with very rude response. I want what is owed, $2669.28.
