Phantom Lawyers------BAD BAD STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Hired law firm for my son's DUI case in January 2017. Had no problem taking the $1500 retainer.
My son received his DUI in Tampa. Come to find out he tricked us into thinking that their office was in Tampa. After contacting them, and actually standing outside of their physical address in Tampa, they can clean and told us they are actually based out of Miami. But not to worry, they try cases all over Florida. They said they would set up a meeting with my son. January, February, March, April, May went by. No meeting. He had to come home for the summer but was again told not to worry because they would meet with him in September upon his return to school. September, October, November came and went no meeting. The case was scheduled in court on 12-6-17. Of course you they did not show up in court but however did send an immigration attorney instead. To this day my son has not meet them in person. He was supposed to plea to a a DUI under 0.15 a misdemeanor, but instead because the sub attorney did was not prepared, and by the way the Judge himself asked her if she was prepared to represent her client, he had to plea to DUI with BAC under 0.15 with property damage.

These lawyers charged a total of $5500 and did not even one hour worth of work. Originally promised to have the charges dismissed since it was his first office. Instead he how has a DUI on his record. Stay away from Parks & Braxton.
