Moved out on Monday the 16th, of May, left gate remote and laundry key at office, which I called and asked if they received it and they said yes. Asked about a refund. Cheryl "manager" said no that we signed a paper that said we needed to give 30 day notice. I asked if I could get a copy of that signed paper, don't remember signing anything. Then she went off on a tangent of why we don't get a refund. Which, I could not understand what she was saying due to her heavy accent. I tried to converse with her at which I could not speak at all she would not allow me too. When she was finished she hung up on me. I know that there would be a payment for the electric bill at the end of the month, but not a $225.00 electric bill. Resolution Sought I would at least like to get $200.00 refund back knowing that an electric bill is coming, $25.00 should cover that.

Company states; Please be advised that I am not obligated by law to return her deposit. Also, note that they did not provide me with their 30 day notice prior to disappering. They also did not clean up the space or give us the laundry & gate key, they were left on a table outside. In which, we were able to retrieve. However, we are denying their request for a $200.00 refund, and they still owe for the electric bill of $56.93.
