Last Aug 2023 my neighbors tree feel into my backyard and landing in my pool as a result it hit one end of the pool tearing up the liner and concrete where it connected with what was once my diving board. After having the tree removed I got the concrete repaired but only recently was able to get my insurance co to pay out a small amount for the damages so on December 18th I did a Google search and after several calls with majority not doing services in my zip code I came across Passion Pools located in Stone Mountain. I spoke with Evelyn, Melvins' wife. I explained my situation and she scheduled a time for him to come out. Melvin showed up on December 23rd and inspected the pool . I informed Melvin that I needed a liner coping on one end which would require the concrete that I'd just replaced in August. To be removed. He expressed that I'd received a quote previous to his that would be around 7k. Now mind you I'm looking to save money on the project so I thought about purchasing my own liner and found one on Mahoney's website for a little over 800. Although the pool is old built in the 70's. It's your standard underground pool 16x32..and about 10ft. Laz6Day pools installed the liner about 4-5 years ago. They were in and out In about 2-3 hrs. Melvin told he'd have his wife send me am estimate and so it sent, she sent the estimate w a break down. There's was really nothing to do mind you but the estimate was for I think a little over 5k . He stated he would need 2k up front Resolution Sought Refund me half of the 2000k of which I paid 500 cash and zelled his bank 1500 or my liner and a receipt for the liner that I was told would be delivered in 6 days which would be 2/2/2024 Friday.
