I purchased a spendwell prepaid Visa card from Dollar general approximately 3 weeks ago which I used to apply funds to an online sports site which I partake and legalize gambling. I purchased a second card and applied $80 Plus the cost of the card on February 3, 2025 at 5:29 p.m.. I immediately tried to activate the card and was declined to activation. I went on the phone with customer service for an hour and a half or longer trying every troubleshooting method before finally telling me that the card can only be used for swipe purposes in store and not to be used online. I thoroughly read through all of the terms and conditions with this company and it stated that I would be allowed to have four sub accounts per person each subaccount having their own card linked to it. There are recorded phone conversations of the customer service representatives for this company telling me that I was only allowed one account per person which is a complete lie according to their terms and conditions. At first they told me that I attempted to activate it too many times so that's why it was declined onto a swipe only. So I went back to the store, purchased another card for $40 plus the dollar to pay for the card at 7:46 p.m. The same night. I went home and tried to activate that card and this time prior to activation I called customer service to make sure they couldn't claim. It was something I was doing during activation that prohibited this to becoming a swipe only situation. Resolution Sought I didn't get to finish above. So needless to say customer service misrepresented this company. They have failed to abide by their terms and conditions and therefore on top of the $122 that I had wasted. I would like a refund for that full purchase price as well as my fuel and time. I have all the receipts recorded, phone call conversations. There's no dispute to this whatsoever. I am 100 in the right. I appreciate any help you can give me
