On June 15th I discovered that a direct deposit for one of my employees went to the wrong bank account for the amount of $1730.90. I immediately contacted my Account Manager for assistance. She wasn't available so I worked with a Bethany from their customer service team at approximately 9:30 AM. She retracted the money from the wrong account and deposited the funds back into my business bank account where funds were originally debited from for payment to my employees. I then received an email from my account Manager the same day, June 15 @ approximately 11:30AM confirming the funds were credited to my business banking account and that I should cut the employee a live check then correct the employee bank account information in my paychex account for the next/future payroll. My employee was paid using another payment method by me on June 15th. On June 25th, I noticed there were several transactions in my business banking account from Paychex. two deposits and 2 debits. It seems Paychex duplicated the credit to my account for the direct deposit error, then reversed and debited my account taking back both deposits instead of taking back the one duplicate deposit. Essentially this caused my bank account to be overdrawn. I have been unsuccessful with recouping these funds from Paychex as they refuse to acknowledge that this was an error on their part. They are stating that they initiated a new direct deposit into the employees account a Resolution Sought I want the money taken refunded plus all additional fees incurred from my bank as a result
