Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. We hired paychex to provide payroll/tax service. Paychex failed to file our taxes and I kept getting notices from the IRS which I forwarded to Paychex. This has been going on since 2021 when we closed our restaurant. I finally had to pay my accountant to get this done in a timely manner. Now Paychex will not refund the money I had to pay my accountant even though I had already paid Paychex who said they had completed this task. I've been in contact with them but I just get excuses. This company should not be in operation because it has caused me stress, anxiety and now we could be in trouble with the IRS. Resolution Sought They should take care of the job I paid them to do and accept responsibility for their lack of action when I've forwarded every correspondence from the IRS to them. Shame on them.

I had service with Paychex for sometime and I closed the account. The business is charging me arbitrary increasing the amount to be paid every month with a collection fee. I had only $500 payable which I am paying in installments. Now they have increased payable to $2000. I am filing a complaint against the business for unfair invoicing and collection process. Resolution Sought Waiver of accounts payable and compensation of $10,000 for unfair collection practice and harrasment.
