Pee Dee Building Systems complaints

I ordered an enclosed are car port. The salesmen was Michael. I put down $872.15. After a few days of looking at our property, we realized that the carport would be a lot tight to park our vehicles. So, we call a couple days later because we had to wait until the company came back from vacation. We was told to don't call Pee Dee Building, to call New Mart Building. We called New Mark Building and we spoke to Cyrstal. We didn't want to cancel the order, We just wanted to break the Carport apart. We didn't need the three (3) sides. includes (Two sides and One Back) Cyrstal changed the order and told us the difference. We were happy. The next day, the salesmen Michael called me and said I would not get any carport because I didn't go through him. That I needed to come back to Pee Dee and revamp the contract. I was told Pee Dee didn't have anything to do with our contract anymore because it was in the hands of the builders now. I don't know why Michael (the salesman) is unhappy. We decided to cancel our contract and get our refund. They are telling us that we do not get any refund. The car port has not been in production. He said after 3 days we do not get any money back. We should get something back. I understand there is a fee but not the whole $872.00 Resolution Sought be fair and return deposit

I really wanted a carport. So, my wife and I went to this PEE DEE BUILDING excited after getting our concrete laid to prepare for the carport. I thought I measured correctly, but my wife and I realized that the (inclosed) carport would be too tight to maneuver our large vehicles in and out of our driveway. The carport was still 4-6 weeks away from being delivered and installed. I had just spoke with the builder and they never started the building as of yet. So, We went back to Pee Dee Builders to cancel the order. It was a week after we put $817.00 deposit down for a $7,000 dollar carport. Pee Dee Builders to us that we were crazy and the worse we were the worses customer they have ever met and that we were not getting any of our deposit back because there policy is written in stone that we had to cancel our order within 3 days of placing the order. I could see PEE DEE BUILDING taking a penalty fee from the $817.00 but no they take the whole deposit. We was never mean to them or crazy. Why take our deposit if we were so crazy.
